August is eventful in the Caribbean year on year, with the Anguilla Summer Festival (also known as the Anguilla Carnival) giving a delightful start to a great month on the exotic land!
From the Bahamas’ Native Fishing Tournament, to Deer Dance Day in Belize and Tobago’s Heritage Festival, there is a LOT going on at this time in the Caribbean.
One of the most looked forward events of all, however – and a yearly celebration that has become a tradition on the island – is the much anticipated Anguilla Summer Festival. In 2015 it happens between the 30th July and 9th August – you can find our recommendations of what to do in this article.
Uniting the Caribbean island of St. Barths with the tradition of sailing, the West Indies Regatta represents the ultimate three days of fun on exotic beaches and turquoise-blue seas!
Taking place from April 30 – May 3 (and coinciding in its first day with the St. Barths Film Festival 2015), this event is certain to be a main highlight of one of the best seasons here in the Caribbean.
